Miranda – Steam punk Opera

Miranda is a live, VR performance where audience members were able to join via their own PC, Oculus Rift or HTC Vive headsets or watch livestreamed version via YouTube. The performance was ticketed and delivered in real time by actors wearing motion sensors capture devices. Performed in US during September 2020, some media coverage suggests that the production was first presented live in 2012 by the Here Arts Centre in Manhattan. The production is a 20 minuets long – the story and score was written by the composer Kamala Sankaram.
