Cheltenham International Film Festival – year round

Cheltenham International Film Festival – ‘year round’ is the branding for the on-line version of the festival. Launched in 2019, the in-person even screened over 40 films at a number of venues as well as offering master classes and workshops in cinematic arts. In 2020, the Festival became the first international film festival in the UK to stream its entire programme online and following its success, it repeated the on-line viewing experience in 2021 (despite a lifting of Covid restrictions). The festival aims to present independent filmmakers and showcase the early films of celebrated directors. The dedicate website for the on-line offer, provides virtual audience members with the choice of one-off payment per film or alternatively, an opportunity to purchase a five-film festival pass. Festival goers have 28 days from a film launch, in which to begin watching their chosen film.
